Dinette Bunk Modification
Our Eagle Cap camper came with a dinette bunk, but it didn’t have any way to keep the small kid who can fit in the bunk up there. We tried to find a readymade bunk rail, but couldn’t find one. Then we realized that one of those net replacements for a truck tailgate would be perfect.

There is also the benefit of this net being an additional support for the edge of the bunk that the original design lacked.

Also, this design allows the slide out to move in and out with the bunk in the down position. We can leave quickly in the morning or sleep in a tight spot without deploying the slide.

The hardware used was simple. The tailgate net had brass spring clips added to the end and the point where we snap those in are just simple brass cabinet handles. All of the brass matches the hardware in the rest of the camper.
